Method 1: Removing the efs-data using vision_wipe_efs:
Download vision_wipe_efs from vision_wipe_efs_01.zip (md5sum 7bced5385509a58a7c8b0a54d38a6897)

Remark: The program vision_wipe_efs will create backups of the partition 13 and 14 on the sdcard using the name "/sdcard/part13backup-<time>.bin" and "/sdcard/part14backup-<time>.bin" so make sure that the sdcard is mounted to the phone.

Unpack the zip file to a directory on your PC. Open a terminal (or command window) on your PC and change the current directory to where the files are on your PC and execute this command (as always: do not type the # it only indicates the root prompt in the shell or the $ as the prompt in a non-root shell):

# adb push vision_wipe_efs /data/local/tmp/

You can also use other ways to copy the file to this directory but the following instructions assume that it is there.

Get a root shell on your phone (either using adb shell or a terminal app) and then use the following command:
If your prompt is not # but $ then first do:

and answer the question of Superuser. (Well you should all know this by now )

Hallo alle zusammen,
ich habe gestern mein Desire HD gerootet, Radio S-Off gemacht und ein CustomRecovery installiert. Danach habe ich Android Revolution HD 5.2.3 installiert.
Es läuft im großen und ganzen sehr rund, allerdings scheint mir der Standby Akkuverbrauch erhöht zu sein (habe heute innerhalb von 3h in denen das Handy durchgehend im Standby war 7% Akku verloren). Es waren wohl noch Optionen angeschaltet für die Aktualisierung von meinem HTC Sense Konto und anderem, habe jetzt das meiste ausgeschaltet.
Habe bei den Android Systeminfos nachgeschaut und der größte Verbraucher war "Android System".
USB-Debugging ist an.
Meint ihr ich sollte ein neues Radio flashen?
Musste mein Desire HD downgraden, weswegen ich jetzt das Radio für die 1.32er Firmware drauf habe, ich hänge einen Screenshot von den Softwareinfos an.
Weiß auch nicht wirklich ob ARHD 5.2.3 und mein altes Radio sich vertragen, die Entwickler empfehlen ja das "12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2" Radio und haben wohl auch die RILs dafür eingebunden (ich habe jetzt quasi die RILs für das empfohlene Radio, aber noch das alte Standard Radio).
Meint ihr es lohnt das Radio zu flashen? Müsste wohl erst noch Eng S-Off machen, außerdem habe ich ja wie es aussieht einen Custom Kernel...
Bitte helft mir, will nichts falsch (kaputt) machen

Hey, nächste mal schreib doch bitte in das gehörige Rev. HD Thema. Der Ubersicht halber.

Du solltest dir ENG S-OFF besorgen und das empfolene Radio flashen.
Das 1.32 Radio ist noch für Froyo.

Custom Kernel sind bei Custom ROMs normal. Die meisten sind Undervoltet um Strom zu sparen, dazu haben viele noch die Option das Handy zu übertakten. (OC)

Würde dir auch empfehlen, das Radio-Rom aus dem XDA-Thread zu flashen, habe bei mir einen Standby-Verbrauch von <1%/h

Jap, aber wichtig ist, dass du neben Radio S-Off auch Eng-S-Off hast^^ Dannach kannste flashen wie du lustig bist

Vielen Dank, dann werde ich heute zuerst Eng S-off machen und dann das Radio flashen. Hatte mir mal einen Guide durchgelesen und jedes zweite Wort war “Brick“. Was kann oder sollte ich davor an Backups machen? Ich werde es zwar so machen wie es in der ReadMe zum radio steht, aber ich will mir das Handy nicht schrotten, was kann ich zur vorbeugung machen, bzw kann ich noch etwas retten wenn was schief geht?

Naja, wenn dir das Handy brickt, bringt das Nandroid Backup auch nicht mehr viel ^^

Vorbeugen kann man den Brick indem man es nicht am 5% vollem Akku des Laptop macht. Das USB Kabel direkt an den PC anschließt und nicht über Hub's oder Front-USB. Dazu das Kabel so hinlegen, dass man es nicht rausziehen kann und das Handy einfach hinlegen und alles genau nach Anleitung befolgt.

Habe mein Desire HD erfolgreich mit dem neuen Radio geflasht
Allerdings ohne Eng S-Off, sondern über den Bootloader.
