new build is up but with only 2 bugfixes

- one for the guys which use accessability service and had fc on lockscreen targets
- as well when I was on it I added accessability instructions for ppl which need to use talkback...so that the phone tells you what to do on lockscreen...means it says...swipe to access a toggle......tells you the name of the shortcut you added etc.
- fix for the checkbox does not stick on longpress lockscreen shortcuts
- percentage battery turns now red when it is under 14%
- battery with percentage shows under 14% now text and not the "!"

so after the 4.3.1 stable release last weekend it is time for something new....so today the first
beta.1 weekly builds of SlimKat4.4 will roll out slowly step by step. Jenkins is building already.


Please note: SlimKat and KitKat in general is on an early stage. Still some apps are not compatible and still some devices have to fight with smaller issues on the other hands a lot devices are already quiet stable. Whatever please keep in mind that this builds are labled for a reason as beta builds. As a lot slim user know we only tag our builds stable when they are already 100% stable and all features are back. But you will be surprised how stable it is already


Installation instructions are like always.....comming from another rom or < 4.3 means a fully clean install with manually format system. Please note as well that you need to flash the 4.4 gapps which are available on the downloadsection. For further install instructions follow this link please: here


Whatever we took some time now to write down all the things which were fixed ehanced and new......and it resulted in a 4 pages changelog....so we decided just to post which features you will have in the early SlimKat builds.....still we could not list all due that it is way way to much which is already done.

At this point thanks to the complete SlimKat team and all contributors and helpers on the slim community and the testers and user which supported us during the alpha tag status. Again without all you this would be never possible.

Known bugs:

• Navigation bar recents button sometimes need to be presses twice
• SMS sending sms with private codes results in a crash
• Lockscreen when carusell animation is enabled dragging the camera icon messes the animation
• Icons on global menu are sometimes a bit distored....not much

Device specific:

• crespo: slight battery drain
• maguro/toro/toroplus: sometimes random reboots....does not effect all
• t0lte rare camera bugs but mostly stable
• t0lte if you experience data drops please use latest CWM to flash

Fehlt noch ein "Wa" hier und da finde ich.

Habe die Beta 1 eben beim Frühstück mit dem Sohnemann geflasht und bisher läuft alles super. Habe auf ART umgestellt und hatte danach immer eine Fehlermeldung, dass die Gapps-Prozesse beendet wurden. Lag ziemlich sicher an der AOSP Tastatur. Gut, dass ich SwiftKey benutze.

Ein kleiner Bug nervt mich noch. Wenn ich in einer App bin, die Statusleiste runterziehe und diese dann mit dem Zurück Softkey wieder hoch schieben möchte (habe ich mich irgendwie dran gewöhnt), dann wird die zuvor geöffnete App auch geschlossen.

So, die Beta 1 ist drauf und da gibt´s auch schon die 1.1 mit kleineren Fehlerkorrekturen:

Ich habe zwei kleine Dinge zu "bemängeln", ansonsten läuft die Beta 1 erste Sahne mit ART und dem ElementalX-Kernel:

1. ich finde nix zum "Lösche Alle" in den Recents. Gibt´s die noch nicht? oder bin ich nur zu blöd

2. Habe ich auch auf XDA schon gepostet, vielleicht kann das hier auch noch jemand gegenchecken:
Wenn ich die Telefon-App starte und auf das Icon für das Dialer-Pad (die 10 kleinen Quadrate unten in der Mitte) dücke, öffnet sich kein Dialer-Pad. Das Icon ist danach auch weg.
Wenn ich dann auf den Homescreen gehe und wieder in die App, ist da Icon wieder da und wenn ich nun draufdrücke, kommt sofort das Dialer-Pad.
Das hatte ich auch schon bei anderen Roms beim N5.

Wer hat das noch? Wie ist das ggf. lösbar?

1. Zu den FC: Hast Du dirty geflashed? oder mit allen wipes?

2. die statusleiste geht bei mir normal hoch und das darunter liegende App bleibt
Also kann ich das Problem nicht bestätigen.
