Ok guys so this is it, the final gingerbread rom from me(hopefully ). It's been good but I can't really do much more on this rom wise & with the ICS update coming soon(hopefully) it dos'nt make sense to do another version.So on to the goodies & please please,please take one minute to read all of the the post's below it will help you an awful lot on your way to Optimus Goodnus

Installing The Rom
-****YOU MUST USE NON-TOUCH RECOVERY!!****
-Download & Copy The .ZIP File Into Your SD.
-Restart The Device In CWM Either Through RomManager Or Power On + Down Volume Key.
-Backup Your Old Rom Just In Case(Recommended).
-At This Stage You Can Wipe Data & The Cache's If You Want For Non-Wipe Version Or Continue To Next Step For Wipe Version.
-Then Choose Install Zip from SD Card, Either Internal Or External. Wherever You Save It.
-Select The .ZIP File & Install It.
-The Script Will Then Do Everything Else You Require Be It Formating & Stuff.
-Reboot Your Phone & You Should Be good To Go.
-Just Give A Few Minutes As First Boot May Take Longer Than Usual.
-After First Boot & Set-up You Can Then Boot Back Into Recovery To Flash A Kernel.

If you have any problems please download & use the full wipe version of the rom before flashing again, some people may be fine without wiping depending on what rom you have come from but it is best to use the full wipe version of the rom. Oh & did i mention YOU MUST USE NON-TOUCH VERSION OF CWM RECOVERY!! & YOU MUST HAVE BOOTED INTO ANDROID BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FLASH ANOTHER KERNEL. Otherwise it may not boot and/or you may get wifi and bluetooth errors.

For Overclocking You Must Flash The Promethius Kernel In The 2# Post, See That Post For More Details On The Kernel.
NOTE: You MUST have the latest gingerbread baseband already im using V20F but 20G, 21E & 20P & maybe 20C will work aswell anything else will NOT work so update your baseband or you wont ever be able to use the latest release.

If you find a bug or there is something you would like me to add please tell me what it is and i will do my best to remedy/add/modify it upon popular request or if its possible. If you do have problems please state you baseband version, which rom you are using and which kernel. I cannot help without these details.

Installing The Kernel
-Make Sure You Have CWM

Welchen Kernel hast du geflasht?
Auf Basis welchen ROMS hast du das Custom ROM installiert, sprich welches ROM hattes du vorher drauf?

Jetz habe ich das 3D max Rom von Accura das ist BB, 21E, das komisch ist das selbst mit die neu Accura Kernel nicht mit jeder nett habe

Ich versuche diesen Satz mal zu interpretieren und er könnte bedeuten, dass du auch mit der Acura Rom kein Netz hast?

Das Baseband bekommst du nicht per ROM, sondern nur über das Flashen der firmware oder des Basebands selbst.

Also:
-21e flashen (z.B. mit der .kdz Datei oder vielleicht auch am einfachsten über das LG Update Tool)
- diese ROM flashen für 21E
- diesen Kernel flashen V1.3+

Wenn ich das richtig sehe hast du also Netz mit den Kernels, die auf einer Source unter 21e basieren. Das ist nicht verwunderlich, schau dir nochmal meinen letzten Beitrag an.

Du musst dir die V21e Firmware nochmal rüberflashen um das Baseband zu erhalten. Eine ROM, die auf V21e basiert bringt dir NICHT das erforerliche Baseband für die neuen Kernels.

Ach Gottchen - das is echt mühsam mit dem Zeuch.

Mittlerweile geht mir das 3D schon am Senkel. Ich glaube, ich wechsel mal zu Samsung. Nischenhandys sind einfach unglaublich unterpriviligiert, was gute Customs angeht. Und gibts dann mal welche, is es schon mühsam, die richtige zu finden und die draufzubekommen.

Wenn du ein ungebrandetes Handy hast, dann sollte die V21E durch ein völlig normales LG Firmware Update aufgespielt werden.

@narrischer: Worauf genau beziehst du dich? Die Custom ROM ist doch ganz einfach zu flashen. Und V21e bekommt man normal über das Firmware Update am PC, das macht jeder Hersteller so.

Das ROM nutze ich nicht, aber den Kernel

Läuft prinzipiell gut, aber ich habe den Eindruck, als ob die CPU mit dem 1.3+ Kernel etwas lang braucht, bis sie bei rechenintensiven Apps (z. B. beim Schachprogramm Droidfish) auf "Touren kommt" (andere Versionen (also auch die aktuelle) habe ich noch nicht probiert)

Ist das möglicherweise eine Folge von "-App Cpu Usage Tweak"?

Nutzt du SetCPU? Und hotplug? Ich habe gelesen, dass es Ansprechprobleme geben könnte, wenn die minimale Frequenz auf unter 300MHz steht. Er arbeitet schon dran. Ich habe die Minimale auf 300MHz stehen und nichts Negatives bemerkt Den neuen Kernel kannst du dir ja dennoch schonmal flashen.

Ich habe gelesen, dass es Ansprechprobleme geben könnte, wenn die minimale Frequenz auf unter 300MHz steht.

Hmm, seitdem ich mit den Einstellungen in CPU Master ein wenig gespielt habe, scheint es auch mit 196 MHz Minimum deutlich schneller anzusprechen als vorher! Aber du hast recht, das verzögerte Ansprechverhalten ist mir mit 196 zuerst aufgefallen...

Naja, bei meinem LG wundert mich schon lange nix mehr, seitdem ich festgestellt habe, dass sich alle 1-3 Tage einer der CPU-Kerne verabschiedet (unabhängig vom verwendeten ROM/Kernel) und sich nur noch mit einem Reboot wiederbeleben lässt...

Hi,
Ich hab noch nach wie vor den Thiaiz2.7.1 Rom drauf und in Verbindung mit dem Promethius Kernel V 1.1 ist es die absolute Dreamfusion. Alles funzt absolut perfekt und in Sachen akku ist es das Beste was ich bisher ausprobiert hab, zumindest mit den 1200 Mhz. Ab V1.3 geht es mit dem alten Baseband nicht mehr , aber wozu Updaten, wenn alles super läuft , ich nutze setcpu und mit den 196 Mhz , hab ich keine Probleme, den 1.2 Kernel will ich gar nicht erst ausprobieren , meinermeinung nach bringt dieses ganze Undervolten nicht viel und es gibt auch mal probleme, versucht doch mal die alte V1.1 , wer Probleme hat.

Man könnte aber erwähnen, dass der Ghostcall erst mit dem neuen V21e Baseband behoben ist Ansonsten war diese Combo wirklich gut, wie alles von ThaiZ. Samnos ROM ist aber mMn nicht wirklich inferior.

ich habe mir jetzt den 1.4+-Kernel geflasht und in Verbindung mit meinem Stock-ROM (V21e) läuft er wirklich gut. Als Minimum sind jetzt sogar 150 MHz möglich; und sogar damit ist das langsame Ansprechen der CPU kein Thema mehr! (evtl. war das nur ein vorübergehendes Phänomen bei meinem O3D)

Bin sehr zufrieden!
