[KERNEL] Glitch kernel for Flo - CPU OC/UV 2.3GHz - GPU OC 627MHz - S2W/S2S - SM too

Mittlerweile gibt es den Glitch-Kernel in der Version r140.1!

- Fix the updater script and configuration generation to fix missing files errors when some settings aren't selected. Also, set a fallback to Qualcomm MPDEC hotplug when nothing was configured.

- Update to Linux 3.4.79

- Add kernel mode NEON support as well as NEON accelerated AES & XOR implementations
- Fix CPU load miscalculation
- jbd2 and ext4 optimizations
- Add max screen off frequency support - Thanks to Flar2 (if disabled in Aroma, changing frequency in apps won't have any effect)
- Add UKSM 0.1.2.2 support
- Add dynamic management of dirty page writebacks
- Enable Wiimote HID support
- Enable USB printer support
- Bugfixes
Aroma installer overhaul :
- Reworked installation process to be clearer and more customizable
- Added an automatic backup of your settings to the root of your internal SDcard
- Added a restoration mode to get your settings from internal SDcard backup back on any rom (cross-compatible with Glitch kernel variants)
- Renamed /system/etc/settings.conf to glitch-settings.conf to make it more obviously glitchy
- Removed the need to set CPU OC, L2/cache OC and auto-uV again when keeping previous settings (now reading it from your settings at flash time. Note : editing this part in /system/etc/glitch-settings.conf requires a reflash using the "already glitched" option)
- Added Qualcomm optimized Dalvik/Bionic libraries into the installer (bionic only on CM variant) so you can install/restore them with the kernel
- Added I/O scheduler, CPU governor, read-ahead buffer size, fast charge, max screen off frequency and maximum multi-core power savings to available settings
- Fixed how the min CPU clock is applied to make it more robust and work better with governors
- Fixed how the min CPU freq uV is applied to make it work independently of the min freq (by subtracting the uV amount to the original voltage instead of forcing plain values) - Also, make it capable of setting uV for all freqs for future use.
- Changed the auto-uV menu to reflect the internal changes
- Fixed some permissions issues
- Added hotplug driver check so it's possible to restore it as well from settings without interference
- Change theme

Habe hier jetzt mal noch eine (sorry dafür) Neulingsfrage...

Kann ich diesen Kernel flashen wenn ich die Stable CM 10.2.1 Version drauf habe und ein FLO Gerät besitze? Wenn "ja", welches soll ich denn jetzt flashen?
Wie weit kann man den Prozessor mit diesem Kernel untertakten?

Kann mir das mal einer erklären?

Ja du kannst diesen kernel in der CAF=CM Version flashen! Übertakten geht... Steht im OP! Ist nicht böse gemeint doch ist eigentlich alles im OP genau erklärt!

Die neuen Versionen sind für CM11 also hast du auch dementsprechend eine ältere Version des Kernels geflasht?

Nein, das habe ich nicht. Bin mit diesem CAF usw. (noch) nicht vertraut...

Wäre das eine richtige Version: "Glitch-N7-r86-CM10.2.zip"?

Klaro... Ich fand die Akkulaufzeiten auf CM 11 ziemlich schlecht und hoffe gerade, dass CM 10.2 mir da ein besseres Ergebnis zu Tage bringt...
Wie sind deine Erfahrungen mit dem Akku der beiden CM Versionen?

Hallo,

benutze diesen Kernel nun mit CM 11 und ja ich hatte etwas Angst, dass das Gerät kaputt ist, da nachdem ich diesen Kernel durch TWRP geflasht hatte war das Gerät eine ganze Weile lang einfach aus und schwarzer Bildschirm usw.

ist das normal?

Hallo,
das ist ein bekanntes Problem. Das liegt an TWRP in Verbindung mit dem AROMA Installer. Alles was du tun musst ist, in den TWRP Einstellungen das automatische Screen-Timeout zu deaktivieren.

habt ihr den kernel auch OC?? also ich hab atm 1944 ghz und gpu auf 450 .. wie weit kann man eig. rauf gehn? also ohne bootloops und für den alltäglichen gebrauch.. hab ja gelesen das leute auch auf 2.3 ghz hoch takten?

Was haltet ihr davon? und wie sind eure einstellungen

Ist von tablet zu tablet unterschiedlich.
I'm allgemeinen ist übertakten eh nicht gut. Ist nutze es nur um mal zu sehen, wie weit bei Benchmarks kommen kann. Wenn das richtige Rom drauf ist braucht man es nicht. Ich undertake bei velocity, da es so smooth läuft.
Und denke daran, zuviel übertakten kann auch deine CPU in die ewigen Jagdgründe schicken.
