Wenn ich diesen Kernel installiert habe, also mein Nexus gerootet habe. Kann ich dann einfach das KitKat 4.4 Update aus diesem Beitrag installieren:

Es wird doch mit dem Kitkat auch der Kernel des Kitkat geflasht. Also wird vom ElemntalX nichts übrig bleiben...

Ja, das schon. Wäre auch erst mal nicht so schlimm. Die Frage ist in der o.g. .zip Datei ist ein Ordner namens patch enthalten. Darin ist das boot.img.p Also Patch heist für mich es wird nicht komplett überschrieben, sondern nur hier und da was verändert.
Auch ist da .zip ca 250MB groß, das 4.3er bei Google aber ca 350MB.

CIFS should be working again. I added the intellidemand governor, but I still strongly recommend ondemand. Got rid of the ultra cpu optimization level, I think it was causing worse performance for most. Finally, I re-added the max screen off frequency, but made the default 1026MHz instead of 702MHz. This should keep music streaming smooth while the screen is off.
I don't know about the multiboot problem. I have the patches, I enabled it in config. I think there might be an incompatibility due to the size of my zImage. If multiboot doesn't work with 2.1, I'll use xz compression next time to make the zImage smaller.

ElementalX ist doch AOSP basiert oder? Also könnte ich ihn mit OmniRom nutzen??
