Wir bleiben bei den Reboots, habe mich schon so daran gewöhnt, muss ich das Handy nicht mehr manuell starten.

Falls doch kann ich Llama empfehlen. Das kann auch noch einiges mehr. Und das bei sehr akzeptablem Akku Verbrauch.

Invisiblek hat vorhin auf xda ein erstes feedback abgegeben ....

Anscheinend gab es 2 verschieden random reboots. Die häufiger auftretenden sollen gefixt sein , jedoch seien die anderen schwer reproduzierbar und es fehlen gescheite logs.

If anyone can give me a consistent way to reproduce it, that's about the best information I can hope for right now. The reboots are so random and spaced apart that anything we try to do to fix it, can't be proven right or wrong for at minimum a day. This, as you can imagine, is incredibly time-consuming.

Little background. It's not just a matter of reverting one commit, this particular issue is a side effect of the new kernel base we switched to shortly after the M9 release. We had two reboot bugs (at the time we thought only one). We fixed one (the one that was reproducable within 10-15 minutes), and didn't have reboots for a day or two and said "ok, shipit!". Later we learned we had this other one and its quite a bit tougher to nail down, because we can't make it happen very often. Logs are all the same, its always failing at the same spot, so none of that's really of much help to us.

Rest assured its being worked on. I have some ideas too, but as I said testing is slow because of the nature of this bug.

If you want it stable, stick the M9 (or whatever nightly people are saying works).

Do NOT flash anyone else's kernel over this or it completely defeats the purpose of the test.

Guten Tag,

ich habe folgendes Problem:

mein i9505 ist mit Cyanogenmod und CMW v6.0.5.0 bestückt aber es hängt sich nach recht langer Zeit (ca. ein paar Stunden) aufeinmal auf (Ganz kurz für ca. 5 Sek.) und Startet sich danach wieder neu. Das passiert, wenn ich in irgendeiner App bin.

Dann habe ich auch noch das Problem, das Whatsapp immer wieder beim neustart einen Fehler anzeigt und zwar.... Ihr Telefondatum ist nicht korrert etc.

Ich weis nicht woran es liegen kann, aber etvl. habt Ihr da Erfahrung wie man dieses Problem beheben kann bzw. wie man herausfinden kann was da schief läuft.

2. wegen dem Datum:

Dazu braucht ihr einen root Explorer und mit diesem geht ihr in das Verzeichnis /system/bin/ und dort löscht ihr die Datei "time_deamon" , danach das Telefon neustarten!

3. CWM updaten (wichtig!) und die aktuellste Cyanogenmod Version flashen.

Das liegt an den vorrangegsngen CAF und kernel changes

Das M9 habe ich gefunden aber nicht das Nightly vom 6.08, weil vor dem M9 gibt es keine Nightlys mehr....

Das werde ich wohl das M9 aufspielen....
Kann ich danach dann sofort wieder auf das Akutellste Nightly gehen, ohne das diese Probleme wieder auftreten???

Hey, hab mal ne Frage. Mein Sensor funktioniert immer noch nicht. Beim Telefonieren bleibt das Display schwarz. Mensch, da muß doch jemand ne Lösung kennen.

Selbes hier. Nummer wählen, anrufen, Bildschirm bleibt schwarz und kann nicht geweckt werden.

Seit ich die Nightly vom 17.08. mit der CWM 6.0.5.0 eingespielt habe, hatte ich keine random Reboots mehr. Außerdem habe ich das Gefühl, dass das System runder läuft, schneller ist und der Sound auch besser ist. Ich habe den Verdacht, dass die Reboots vor allem daher kommen, dass die neuesten Nightlys noch mit älteren Versionen von CWM installiert werden. Könnt ihr das bestätigen?

Der richtige/neue Treiber ist wohl tatsächlich noch nicht in ver CM 4.4.4 implementiert. Hier ein paar Infos vom Entwickler von Smart IR, um was es dabei geht:

It doesn't work for you most likely because of a change from Android 4.4.2 to 4.4.4, which CM doesn't handle. To be more specific: The official Android specification says that the commands being sent to the IR (using the transmitIr(frequency, pattern[]) method) need to be sent in a microseconds format. When Samsung/HTC implemented the KitKat IR api's initially in their drivers, they used a PWM format instead (each value representing number of cycles instead of number of microseconds). With the update from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3, both Samsung and HTC have switched to the correct representation (microseconds) in their drivers, but CM doesn't always seem to include the latest drivers.

Smart IR Remote uses the OS version to determine the representation of the signals that have to be sent, and since the current version is 4.4.4 but the actual accepted IR signal representation is in cycles instead of microseconds, the app crashes. Worst thing is that I don't have these updated drivers.

If you send me an email at dogarusergiu@gmail.com, I can change a setting on our server that will tell your installation of Smart IR Remote to use the old method regardless of the OS version, although I'd much rather have the updated drivers included.

Once your ROM changes their code to use the same format for IR codes as the official*4.4.3*from Google, our app (and every other app) will stop working again, so please let me know when the moment arrives so we can reset your settings to default.

Das sage ich dir seit 2 Wochen.
Anscheinend verstehst du nicht mal was die dort schreiben.
Es sind 2 ganz verschiedene Probleme die mit einander nichts zutun haben.
