Bugs:

Bluetooth Calling via Headset oder Autos funktioniert Aktuell nicht. Daran wird aber gearbeitet um das zu ändern.

Anmerkungen vom Rom Ersteller:

• Use opengapps 8.x and ARM ..not ARM64
• also,i didnt try any root method since i dont have a device at all
• camera is NOT working
• Substratum: i dont know if it even works.i think it doesnt do NOT report bugs.its an alpha stage

Installation

Bitte nur installieren, wenn ihr wisst, was ihr tut.
Jeder ist für sich und eventuelle Schäden, die durchaus möglich sind, selbst verantwortlich.

  • Wenn ihr von einer anderen ROM kommt -> FullWipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer CM12/CM12.1 Optimized ROM kommt -> FullWipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer CM13 unofficial Build kommt -> FullWipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer CM13 nightly kommt -> Fullwipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer CM14 kommt -> Full Wipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer CM14.1 kommt -> Full Wipe
  • Wenn ihr von einer vorherigen Resurrection Remix ROM oder anderen Rom kommt -> Fullwipe
  • Backup, Backup, Backup! Bevor ihr flasht immer ein Backup des aktuellen funktionierenden Systems erstellen

Neuinstallation der ROM

   • ROM zip und passende GApps (8.x in ARM Version) runterladen
   • Alle zip-Files auf die externe SD-Karte packen
   • Neustart ins Recovery (neuste TWRP verwenden !!)
   • Advance Wipe " /System /Data /Cache /Dalvik /Internal Storage "
   • Bei Bedarf Partitionen zu F2FS konvertieren
   • Wähle "Install zip from SDcard"
   • Installiere ROM zip file
   • Installiere GApps zip file (Version 8.x ARM)
   • System neustarten

Update einer bereits installierten Resurrection Remix-ROM

   • Alle zip-Files auf die externe SD-Karte packen
   • Neustart ins Recovery
   • Advanced Wipe " /System /Cache /Dalvik Cache " [/system bei Bedarf]
   • Wähle "Install zip from SDcard"
   • Installiere ROM zip file
   • Installiere GApps zip file (Nur wenn /System auch gewiped wirde)
   • Advanced Wipe " /Cache /Dalvik Cache "
   • System neustarten
   • Aktuelle ROM-Version und passende GApps runterladen

Ich habs nun heute mal drauf gemacht, und werd mal sehen wie ich zurecht komme die Tage, das erste was ich getestet habe war natürlich die Kamera, Bilder gehen - Video nein (hängt sich komplett auf), Alternativapp hab ich noch nicht getestet

Das mit der Kamera und der App die dabei ist, das ist bekannt. Empfehlung ist das was du gemacht hat. Andere Kamera App

Nach ein paar Tagen Nutzung kann ich nun folgendes berichten: Anfangs hatte ich ständig reboots das lag aber wohl daran dass ich gleich etwas am kernel rumgestellt habe ( hab den B--B-Kernel gleich mit geflashed). Nun hab ich das Batteryprofil geladen und im Moment schauts gut aus. Ansonsten funktioniert alles soweit. Mir kommt es aber so vor als würden Greenify, Disable Service, WakeLock Detektor, etc. nicht oder gar nicht funktionieren - das liegt aber denke ich mal grundsätzlich an Oreo (da muss ich mich noch schlau machen). Telefonieren klappt, GPS klappt und die Akkulaufzeit könnte besser sein aber geht in Ordnung, mit dem Batteryprofil komm ich jetzt gut übern Tag, ist aber noch Luft nach oben da Apps wie Greenify nicht korrekt arbeiten und daher der Deep Sleep nicht sofort kommt.
Grundsätzlich hoff ich jetzt mal dabei bleiben zu können und nicht auf Nougat zurück zu müssen, wäre schade um die Zeit die ich investiert habe.

Dann wünsche ich noch schönes Restostern

Hab jetzt seit über ner Woche die beta3 laufen, läuft deutlich stabiler, kein einziger reboot. Liegt aber vielleicht auch daran das ich den Standardkernel belassen habe.
Mein Nachfolgerhandy das Mi7 soll wohl erst im Q3 kommen -
Habe jetzt mein S4 noch auf kabelloses Laden aufgerüstet.
Würde jetzt nur noch IP68 fehlen...

Servus,

ich wollte auch mal meinen Senf dazu geben. Vorab, ich habe schon ettliche Handys geflashed und mit Odin usw. rumgemurckst.

Nun zu meinem i9505:
- neuste TWRP drauf
- Full Wipe
- alles auf F2FS umgestellt
- Beta3 mit Gapps ARM nano drauf.

Sobald ich den Alucard Kernel drauf habe, kommt der Bootmodus nicht in die zweite Phase, stürzt ab und fängt wieder von vorn an. Geht man danach ins Recovery, sind dort alle Einstellungen resettet, genau wie bei Erstinstallation.

Ansonsten läuft die Beta3 bei mir Top und hat mir den Neukauf erspart. Keine Reboots oder Bugs, außer das automatische Bilddrehen geht nicht!

Hat noch jemand das Problem oder eine Lösung dazu?

@Xyger Mir geht es ganz genauso, hab bisher noch keinen Weg gefunden den Fehler zu beheben, wäre auch Glücklich für eine Lösung.
@weini wäre Toll gewesen wenn Du uns mal deinen Installationsweg beschrieben hättest.

Servus,
seit Version 4 ist mein i9505 unbrauchbar, es stürzt regelmäßig ab und der Akku ist ruck zuck leer.
Automatische Bildschirmausrichtung ging in keiner Version.
Eine schnelle Notlösung im Urlaub Version 3 drüber zu bügeln, brachte kein stabiles nutzbares System mehr.

Also im Englischen Original Thema lese ich auch von Problemen da aber hauptsächlich wegen der Kamera.

Hast du denn immer bei 0 Angefangen? Also alles vom Internen Speicher gelöscht? Also als du Version 4 installiert hast und als du Version drei Installiert hast. 3 über 4 einfach zu installieren ist eine sehr schlechte Idee
