Installation instructions (IF YOU COME FROM AN ICS ROM IT'S NOT NECESSARY THE STEPS 1 TO 4, YOU CAN START ON 5) Nothing special must be done for flashing, this ROM is as other ICS roms

1 Keep a copy of efs folder for security
2 Reboot in recovery and data factory (it's not obligated, but could be interesting to format all from mount/storage)
3 Turn off the phone and restart download mode.
4 Put the ROM JVU (http://hotfile.com/dl/140301534/be88...U_OXA.rar.html Password: samfirmware.com) from in download mode from odin with marked repartition and reboot the mobile. Shut it off and reboot in download mode again, from odin flash now cf-root on pda without repartition (http://download.chainfire.eu/132/CF-....3-CWM3RFS.zip)
5 Once mobile is restarted, we debug (this is very important, you must mark debug on in the SGS) and copy the "4.0.4 beta" in the internal sd and reboot in recovery.
6 Wipe factory reset, cache partition, Dalvik cache and we flash "4.0.4 beta"
7 If do not start, press the 3 button to return to recovery and repeat step 6.
8 Open the app NSTools and select as governor and Scheduler Smartassv2 VR or that you like.
9 Enjoy ..

When man wechselt stock kernel mit Semaphore/Glitch/anderer Devil und folgt der Anleitung: löschen /cache und /data/dalvik und /etc/init.d, man wird verlieren jede scripts in /etc/init.d.

Modifizierter Devil, nennt sich 3.1.10 skorpion devil 15.1 LED2

Hier noch mal eine Anleitung von Palmatron aus dem HTC-Forum zum wechseln des Kernels,
Man muss!!! zuerst den Semaphore flashen und dann danach einen anderen

Den Kernel Cleaning Script und den Kernel auf die interne SD kopieren
Reboot in Recovery
ultimate_kernel_cleaning_script_v4_by_lippol94.zip durchlaufen lassen
zurück zu install zip from sdcard--choose zip----semaphore (oder anderen Kernel wie Devil)
installieren lassen
reboot system now
Wenn das SGS in der Bootanimation ist (die "fliegenden Kacheln")
Batterie raus und wieder rein
Booten in Recovery
Option "Advanced"
clear NSTools settings ausführen
Clear init.d directory ausführen
go back
Reboot system now
Dann ist der neue Kernel installiert

Das ist nicht richtig. Im Devil-recovery kann man NSTools settings und init.d nicht löschen. Diese Möglichkeit ist nur im Semaphore und Glitch kernel. Du solltest Dinge ausprobieren und dann schreiben. Danke.

Der Devil liess sich bei mir nur mit Wipe Cache / Dalvic problemlos flashen, andere User hatten da wohl wesentlich mehr Stress und blieben in der Bootanimation hängen.
Keine Ahnung, warum es bei einem SGS klappt und beim anderen nicht.

Ich bekomme auch keinen anderen Kernel drauf geflasht, Egal welcher Anleitung Ich auch folge.

Wie Du vermutest, ist es wohl Geräte abhängig!

Kann sein. Meine Erfahrung: Ich habe schon alle ICS und Kernel geflasht. Ich musste weder Kernel clearing-script noch wipe cache und dalvik benutzen. Ich habe es heute auf der anderen 4.0.4 ausprobiert. Kein Problem. Ich hatte aber mit diesem Rom Probleme. Nach Kernel-flash habe bootloop gekriegt. Denn habe nandroid restore ausgeführt. Nach dem Neustart habe status bar und notif. bar und phone.apk verloren. Ich musste es nochmal aufsetzen.

Elite hat vorhin angekündigt, weitere Versionen erst von einigen Betatestern ausprobieren zu lassen, bevor er sie dem gemeinen Volk zum Fraß vorwirft

So will er vermeiden, dass nach jeder Betaveröffentlichung wieder und wieder die gleichen Fragen kommen, z.B. über Bugs, die nix mit der ROM zu tun haben, sondern von Apps verursacht werden.
Für uns also durchaus ok, dass die erst getestet werden und dann "bugfrei" drüber gebügelt werden können.

Der neue Kernel kann ohne Prbleme nachgeflasht werden: [KERNEL] Semaphore ICS 0.9.1 (0.9.5b)

Einfach vorher Ultimate Skript flashen und Gut ist.

Damiangto hat ebenfalls einen Kernel für ICS in der Entwicklung, Vortex Fusion, Alpha 2, die Kernel von ihm zusammen mit Brotuck als ROM-Entwickler waren ja immer absolut genial.

Im Moment noch im Alpha-Satus und nur in der "Premium Area" des Forums, mal schauen, ob eventuell (nach langer Zeit des Wartens) wieder was geniales der beiden das Licht der Welt erblickt.

Deshalb heisst der ja auch noch ALPHA
(Darum werde ich mir den auch noch nicht flashen)

Ansonsten, wie schon erwähnt, waren die Kernel von Damian immer fantastisch, Tornado ROM und Azureus als Kernel, das flitzte richtig gut.

Well, overall damian's kernel is pretty good. I have some occasional slight microlag in the app drawer but that's probably due to the conservative governor and I've had it on the other ICS kernels too. Only smartassV2 + noop seemed to fix that but as we all know GUI speed isn't most important and I guess conservative is better overall and I can always use NSTools to make it more agressive though I guess this kinda defeats the purpose.


Yes i have not tweaked much yet and NSTool do ruin that anyway.
So I will try to fix that to.
In the mean time us this settings in NSTool.
Sampling rate 10000
Down threshold = 35%
Up threshokd = 55%
Freq step = 9 or 10 ( not 100% sure yet)

aufs SGS portiert

Acabo de portar esta ROM.. en las cuales se basaba mis antigüas 4.0.4 y tengo que decir que después de unas cuantas modificaciones funciona todo muy bien excepto (la barra de cobertura que sigue a tope )

Ich habe gerade diese ROM portiert, die auf meinen alten 4.0.4 basiert und ich muss sagen, dass sie nach einigen Modifikationen sehr gut funktioniert (MIT AUSNAHME DER DATENANZEIGE; IMMER NOCH BEI 100%)

Tendréis ROM Control y mejoras gracias a raffaele88 y a AOKP (propietario de Rom Control)
Damit habt Ihr ROM CONTROL und andere Verbesserungen von raffaele88 und AOKP (denen das ROM CONTROL gehört)

Bajito93 hat eine modifizierte ROM auf Basis der 4.0.4 rausgebracht, wird geflasht wie eine "normale ROM:

Installation:
1º Wipe data/factory reset, cache partition y Dalvik cache.
2º Flashen der ROM via CWM.
