Ich habe mich bereits durch sämtliche Settings durchgekämpft, kann aber beim besten Willen keinerlei Schalter, Toggle oder Option finden um GPS zu aktivieren/deaktivieren. Es gibt nur diesen Location-Toggle.

Hat hier irgendjemand eine Info darüber wie das gehen soll?
Ich will GPS nicht immer aktiv haben.

Wenn es da keine Möglichkeit gibt, fliegt das Teil wieder runter vom Note.
Wäre echt super das ROM, aber ohne GPS-Steuerung? Das geht gar nicht für mich.

Vielleicht bin ich einfach nur blind, bitte um Hilfe bei dieser Suche.

Soo Leute will wie gesagt mal Thread aufräumen will Vllt jemand mal seine persönlichen Erfahrungen in einen Txt bringen und Vllt noch die Vorteile gegenüber einer anderen Rom aufzählen

Danke für die Info, hab es gefunden. Eine Frage noch. Das Modem in der aktuellen SlimKat ist nicht so gut für Österreich. Kann ich hier auch ein Modem von Stock Samsung Roms verwenden, oder schrotte ich das Note2 damit?

In der SlimKat ist kein Modem vorhanden. Du hast also noch eines von einem anderen ROM.
Und Modems wechseln kannst du ganz wie dir beliebt und was für dich am besten ist. Hier hast du einige zur Auswahl, einfach in der Recovery flashen: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...-version-fuer-deutschland-xxufnd3.356636.html

Du darfst nur kein 4.1.2 Modem vor DME4 flashen, da deine EFS-Partition bereits modifiziert ist und du sonst kein Netz mehr hast. (Was sich aber durch einen Flash eines neuen Modems richten lässt)

Ich hatte vorher 4.3 Firmware Basierende Custom-Roms genutzt, und war überhaupt nicht zufrieden.
Und da ich SlimKat schon auf meinem Nexus 4 /7 genutzt hatte, gab es eigentlich für mich keine andere Alternative.
Die Vorteile der ROM sind :
*sie läuft flüssig und schnell
*stabil
*keine unnötigen Apps
*Pie unterstützt
Und Dank wöchentlichen Updates immer aktuell.

Bin jetzt seit gestern Abend fertig mit dem Einrichten von Slim Kat und es läuft bis jetzt sehr gut.

Ich hatte nur heute Morgen massive Probleme, die SystemUI hatte immer wieder FCs und telefonieren konnte ich auch nicht, es hängte sich immer wieder auf.

Nachdem ich aber gestern nach Fertigstellung ein komplettes Backup gemacht hatte konnte ich alles wiederherstellen.

Keine Ahnung was das verursachte, aber jetzt läuft wieder alles.
Hoffentlich für längere Zeit, sieht echt gut aus die ROM.

Bin noch am Überlegen ob ich nicht vielleicht noch ein bisschen Superwolf-Style hineinbringe, mal sehen ob das für AOSP auch so schön funktioniert als für Sammy ROMs.

Ich vermisse den HDR Modus vom original Sammy ROM und Photosphere von meinem Nexus 4. Gibt es da vielleicht einen Ersatz? Vielleicht sogar eine Google Kamera APP die auf unserem Note 2 läuft und Beides bietet?
