LG Optimus L-Series II: Das L5 II schon ausführlich beleuchtet

Gestern noch „heißes“ Gerücht, heute schon bestätigt und einige Fragen geklärt: LG hat das Facelift seiner L-Serie offiziell vorgestellt. Wie schon bei den Vorgängern, starten die Südkoreaner zunächst mit drei Smartphones, ein viertes Modell ist nicht unwahrscheinlich. Eines vorweg: Alle drei Geräte kommen direkt mit Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) auf den Markt, wer also ein preiswertes Gerät mit (relativ) aktueller Software sucht, sollte sich die L II-Serie mal näher anschauen. Ein Bild gibt es heute schon von der ganzen Familie, wirklich ausführliche Informationen gibt es zunächst nur zum 4,3-Zoll großen L7 II, da das schon in der kommenden Woche als Dual-SIM-Variante in Russland auf den Markt kommen soll. Wie bereits gestern vermutet, wird der Qualcomm MSM8225 Dual-Core-Prozessor mit 1GHz Taktgeschwindigkeit für die nötige Rechenleistung sorgen. Es stehen 768 Megabyte RAM und 4GB interner Speicher zur Verfügung, letzterer kann über den microSD-Kartenslot erweitert werden. Das IPS LC-Display bietet eine Auflösung von 800x480 Pixeln. Zwei Kameras sins ebenfalls vorhanden, hinten ein 8-Megapixel Exemplar mit LED-Blitz, vorn ein VGA-Modell. Der Akku verfügt über eine Kapazität von üppigen 2.460mAh. Die Maße betragen 12,2 x 6,7 x 0,97cm. Über das L3 II und das L5 II, die zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt (MWC?) im Detail vorgestellt werden sollen, sind zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt Informationen zum Display, wie zum Akku verfügbar. Das kleine 3,3-Zoll L3 II besitzt ein IPS Display mit 320x240 Pixeln und einen 1.540mAh Akku. Das 4-Zoll große L5 II bekommt ebenfalls eine Auflösung von 800x480 Pixeln und einen Akku mit 1.700mAh. L SeriesII also offers an expanded set of user-convenient features including those unique to LG smartphones such as QuickMemo, Quick Button and Safety Care. QuickMemo allows users to capture and share handwritten ideas with others using just a fingertip. Quick Button enables customers to personalize a hotkey to launch any app such as the camera, browser, music player or even QuickMemo. Safety Care offers three options – Emergency Call Forwarding, Phone Non-Usage Notice’ and My Location Notice – which can be programmed to contact a loved one in case of an emergency.

User experience is enhanced with the high-resolution IPS display and extended capacity battery in the Optimus L SeriesII. What’s more, Dual SIM versions of the Optimus L SeriesII smartphone will enable customers to use one device for both business and personal calls.
